Worku Ayetenew Foundation has been registered and accorded legal responsibility with registery number 5396 on January 11,2022 as local organization in accordance with the Civil Society Organisations Proclamation no.1113/2019.

Ethiopia is on a transformative journey toward achieving middle-income status, marked by significant strides in health, education, economic development, and social progress. The Worku Aytenew Foundation (WAF) was established to play an active role in this national effort. Rooted in a strong sense of patriotism and commitment to public service, the Foundation strives to preserve and carry forward the legacy of its founder by contributing meaningfully to sustainable and inclusive development.
