Worku Mechanized Farm operates 14,000 hectares of leased land, cultivating high-demand crops using modern agricultural technology. Our farm produces key inputs for Ethiopia’s food security and export economy, while supplying raw materials to sister companies within WA Investment Group.

Who We Are

Worku Mechanized Farm is a large-scale, privately operated farming initiative under WA Investment Group. Designed to replace imports and strengthen Ethiopia’s food production system, the farm applies intensive mechanized farming to produce oilseeds, grains, pulses, and fruits.

What We Grow

Oilseeds:

Sesame, soybean, sunflower

Food Crops:

Maize, rice, chickpeas, mung beans

Fruits:

Bananas, mangoes, oranges (for local and export use)

All produce is cultivated to meet both domestic consumption and industrial processing standards.
